Richard has been involved in the property sector since starting in Estate Agency in 1982…..41 years ago!!! Having spent several years in estate agency Richard moved into the housebuilding sector and spent a number of years as Managing Director of regional divisions at both Charles Church and Fairclough Homes before returning to estate agency in 2009 when he established Pewleys in Shalford. Pewleys went from strength to strength over the next ten years, quickly becoming recognised as the Independent agent of choice in Guildford’s village market. In 2020, Richard helped oversee the merger with Chantries and continues to be based in the Shalford office, still offering sound, professional advice to his clients in the villages south of Guildford.
Richard is married with two daughters. Outside of work Richard is a member of Rotary and keen (if not very good) at playing both tennis and golf when time permits. And thankfully he’s a very busy man…!
